Legal Staff Solutions is based in Victoria, British Columbia and is owned and operated by Sharon Wilcox who has been a member of the legal community in various capacities for over 20 years. This service originated to fulfill a demand in providing temporary and permanent placement of qualified and competent legal personnel.

Sharon Wilcox started
her legal career in 1983 while with the Legal Registries
Office in the Department of Justice at Yellowknife, N.W.T.
She worked there as a Second Deputy Registrar. She moved
on to the private sector as a legal assistant in real estate
and conveyancing where she was appointed as a Notary Public
in and for the Northwest Territories. She relocated to Victoria,
BC in 1991 where she continued her work as a legal assistant/conveyancer.
She was a legal instructor at both Camosun College and Sprott
Shaw Community College in Victoria. She was appointed as
Camosun's Practicum Supervisor for the legal program at
the college and was responsible for arranging the placement
of 29 students into the workforce in law firms in 2000.
It was her keen interest in assisting these students that
brought her to the business of providing valuable job placement
assistance to legal staff and lawyers. Legal Staff Solutions
has been a primary focus for Sharon over the past 8 years
and she is dedicated to continuing her efforts in this area.
